This conversation has come up a lot over the last couple of weeks, so let’s chat.
And for those of you who don’t like to watch the whole video (or just want a recap anyway…)
Moral of the story:
1. Know who you are trying to attract to your list.
I mean really know them! What do they like to drink, what is their favourite flavour of ice-cream, what TV show can they not survive without watching???
2. Build an amazing, great value, FREE opt-in.
Something that really showcases you and the value you can give them. Something where they get to know you as a person, where they can learn about you and from you… video and webinar are definitely better options if you are trying to convert high end sales (they get to know you quicker in these formats)
3. Drive traffic to your opt-in
You can use social media ads, google adwords, groups, affiliates… the options are endless.
Once you’ve built great trust and got them on your list, then you can share your amazing course with them 🙂
Simple as that really.
