This part 4 in the Create the Ultimate Membership Site series, where we take a look at what you need to consider to build a successful membership site. You can check out the rest of the series here.
This week we are talking all things “features”.
Yup, we are talking about the things that you want your site to be able to do, all about the bells and whistles.
What features do you want your site to have?
Do you want them to be able to bookmark content?
Do you want them to be able to track what they have completed?
Do you want them to have access to a forum?
Of course, the more features that you have, the more difficult or expensive it could be to build, but at least start with a clear idea of what you would like it do be able to do.
And what does your audience want?
Do they want the forum?
What support do they want?
How and where do they want to access the content?
Don’t over fill your site with features.
Sometimes less is more.
It is better to have content that is easy to access, and clear and easy to use, than it is to have a heap of different bells and whistles.
There is no right or wrong here.
So, this week… create a list of the things that you want your site to do.
