This part 2 in the Create the Ultimate Membership Site series, where we take a look at what you need to consider to build a successful membership site. You can check out the rest of the series here.
This week we are taking a moment to look at building a list of people who are interested in your membership site.
Yup, I know it might seem a little backward, you don’t even have a site yet…
But I see a lot of people put hours of work into something, only to find that it doesn’t sell, or that their market really isn’t interested in that option.
So, today, take some time to start to think about building your list.
(If you already have a list of people who are interested in your stuff, woohoo, well done. You can still take a moment to reach out to them, let them know that you are thinking of building a site, and getting them to let you know if they love the idea).
Some other things you can try:
Create a coming soon page, or a landing page for the membership area, where people can express their interest.
Create an opt-in that will directly relate to the content that you are thinking of putting into your membership site.
For example: You might create a mini course, as an example of the types of courses they can get inside the site.
Or you could release a workbook or a series of videos.
How will you start to build your list and get people interested in your membership site?
